QT Systems AB was founded in 2001. We are a hardware and software company based in the inland of Norrland, specifically in Lycksele. Since 2023, QT Systems AB has been a part of Confirma Software AB.

Our focus areas are electric vehicle chargers, access control systems, and booking systems. Our primary customers are housing cooperatives and sports facilities, and we largely sell through our resellers.
All our products and services are developed in-house. We are very proud of this, as it allows us to be flexible and capable of making customer-specific adaptations.
One of our strengths is that all our products and services can be controlled through a single app - easy for the customer and simple to manage for the property owner.

Job Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the operation of our products/services. This includes:

  • Resolving operational stoppages and working on improvements to prevent future stoppages.

  • Fixing bugs and other sources of errors.

  • Being knowledgeable in all parts of the system to make well-informed and accurate decisions.

  • Working on the design of new products.

  • Being responsible for integrations with new and existing partners.

  • Providing internal support for operations and support teams.

  • Maintaining and upgrading systems (3k+ embedded Linux, 4k+ MCUs).

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining monitoring systems (Grafana + tools). Our system with 3000k+ embedded Linux (uClinux) is present in properties across Sweden and Europe. Within a property, an industrial bus, Modbus over RS-485, is used, through which an additional 1-200 subunits (MCUs) communicate.

Your Profile: Languages: C (on Linux and MCU), Python, GoLang, Lua, Bash, PHP, 8051 assembler.
Applications: MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Git, Make, Grafana, Nginx, Wireshark, Valgrind, Ubuntu, Windows.
Some hardware understanding of MCUs (8051), low-level serial communications, RS-485, Modbus, PLC (chip ST7580 - FSK, PSK multi-mode power line networking system-on-chip), etc.
Comfortable in a leadership role.
