System Operations Manager to Extend
Extend are looking for a System Operation Manager
Main areas of responsibility will be:
Window Server operation (some Linux)
- Internet information Services (IIS) as Web server, maintenance and setup
- Windows updates, monitoring, making sure the system runs as it should
- General upgrading of servers, maintenance of servers regarding performance
- Operation of SQL servers and accompanying databases
- General SQL queries
- Maintenance of certificates
Server hosting:
- Responsibility for maintenance of vcenter host
- Setup of new servers
- Back-up and restore of back-up via Veeam
- Monitoring of the cough
Mission-related tasks:
- Setup of new databases for new customers
- Upgrades to new versions
- Some customer support and customer meetings
- Ordering and preparing new equipment
Tasks related to information security
- Responsibility for information security in the business
- Testing new versions
Wanted qualifications:
· Education at minimum Bachelor's level in IT Operations
· Experience from server operation on a large scale
· Experience with the preparation and implementation of
Information security plans - including risk assessments, penetration tests, security routines and follow-up of subcontractors
· Experience in executing test plans for new software versions
· It is also an advantage to have some experience from integration and migration jobs.
