Extend AS was established in 1996 and delivers our in-house developed, flexible web-based quality system and business management system EQS to over 200 customers and over 200,000 users. EQS is the market leader in a number of industries and delivers to both large and small customers in the private and public sector. The company is located at Leiv Erikson center in Trondheim and has 14 employees who work with support, software development, marketing, sales and consulting services. Extend AS is owned by Confirma Software AB and together with them represents Norway's largest environment for quality systems and a large Nordic system development environment. We are in a period of strong revenue growth, have solid results and want to develop further.

Main areas of responsibility will be:

  • Lead the development work and the development department in Extend, including personnel responsibility and management of the employees in the department.

  • Planning and management of new releases

  • Product ownership of the software

  • Ensure that product strategy is in accordance with overall strategy for the company

  • Responsible for coordinating technical support to our customers

  • Participate in technical answers to requirements specifications offers / tenders

  • Ensure continuous updating and further development of technical documentation

Wanted qualifications:

  • Experience from management of development organizations and development projects

  • Competence and experience with project management

  • Focus on continuous development and improvement

  • Education corresponding to Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science / computer technology

  • Fluent in both Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing

  • Quick to get acquainted with new tasks and new technology

  • We want you to have knowledge of several of the technologies we use and other relevant technologies

  • - General object oriented development

  • - Perl (used as the main language in the application)

  • - Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, XSL, etc.

  • - Relationship databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
